We develop micro/nano-technology for precision biology and medicine

We are a curiosity and creativity driven lab based in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University. Our research exploits microscale and nanoscale physical phenomena, devices and electronics to develop technology for precision biology and medicine. This includes developing microscale high-sensitivity and high-throughput bioassays that help accelerate discovery and electronic biosensing and manipulation techniques that help translate these discoveries to the clinic.

We are primarily a multidisciplinary engineering lab but we work closely with clinicians and biologists across applications in discovery, prevention, diagnostics and therapy for a number of diseases including infectious diseases and cancer. We are also broadly interested in inventing and translating technology to make high-quality healthcare more accessible and affordable globally.
